Four Tiger players join squad in Pakistan

The Bangladesh cricket team is gradually assembling in Pakistan ahead of their three-match T20I series, with four more players — Tanzid Hasan, Shamim Hossain, Jaker Ali, and Mahedi Hasan - arriving in Lahore shortly after midnight on Monday.

These players are part of the second group of arrivals. The rest of the squad is expected to reach Lahore by Tuesday morning.

A 10-member group from Bangladesh had already arrived on Sunday, which included players such as Hasan Mahmud, Tanvir Islam, Parvez Hossain Emon, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
In a last-minute squad change, pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out of the series due to injury. Right-arm fast bowler Khaled Ahmed has been named as his replacement.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Rishad Hossain are already in Pakistan, having clinched the PSL title with Lahore Qalandars last night.

Originally, Bangladesh was scheduled to visit Pakistan in two batches starting May 21 for a five-match T20I series, with the opening game set for May 25 in Faisalabad. However, due to logistical issues and revised security assessments, the series has been shortened to three matches.
As per the updated schedule, all three T20Is will now take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on May 28, May 30, and June 1.
