Fast bowler Naseem Shah, in a heartfelt social media post, referred to Bangladesh as “a country close to my heart.” He wrote, “Tragic news from Bangladesh today. A country close to my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims, their families, and all affected by this devastating incident. May peace and strength find them in this dark hour."

All-rounder Shadab Khan also expressed his sorrow, specifically referencing the plane crash. “Tragic news from Bangladesh about the plane crash. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to the deceased and their families. Best wishes for those injured in this tragic incident.” he posted on X.
Meanwhile, pacer Hassan Ali mourned the loss of innocent lives, stating, “Saddened by the tragic news from Dhaka. Such innocent souls gone too soon. My heart and prayers are with the victims and their families. May Allah grant everyone patience. Wishing quick recovery to those injured."
