Liton at his career-best Test ranking

Bangladesh wicket-keeper batter Liton Das has moved up in the ICC Test batting rankings, following the conclusion of the New Zealand Test series.


Liton Das has moved up 17 places to 15th and Kiwi’s Devon Conway has climbed up 18 places to 29th. While in the bowler's rankings Ebadot Hossain moved to 17 places to 88th and Shoriful Islam to 104th they were the notable climbers on the bowling side of the rankings.


Meanwhile, Marnus Labuschagne remained in the top spot, Joe Root in the second and Steve Smith, who has leapfrogged Kane Williamson to enter the top three.

On the bowling side, Kyle Jamieson has made the eight-spot jump, while Kagiso Rabada's six wickets has seen him jump a spot to fifth.


After twin hundreds in the fourth Ashes Test at the SCG, Usman Khawaja has rocketed back into the Test batting ranking and re-entered at 26th.


The left-hander made 137 and 101* across the two innings at the SCG.
