Despite speculations swirling around the potential relocation of the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2024, recent reports have countered such claims. According to Cricbuzz, the league is set to remain entirely in India.
Chennai has been designated as the host city for the Qualifier 2 and the Finals, scheduled for May 24 and 26, respectively. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad will take charge of hosting the Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 21 and 22.
There were reports that the cash-rich league turning its head towards UAE for the next half of the tournament.

However, BCCI secretary Jay Shah had denied any transfer and had assured the conduct of the league in India solely.
The twists emerged in the wake of upcoming general elections in India and with that came security concerns.
