Six Under-19 World Cup winners were drafted in the Bangladesh Cricket Board XI as BCB announced the BCB XI for the two-day practice game against Zimbabwe on Sunday.
World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali is part of the six members that includes Parvez Hossain Emon, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shoriful Islam, Shahadat Hossain, Tanzid Hasan Tamim.
Notably, no players of the current national team were considered to take part in this match.

The game will be held on February 18-19 at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP).
‘’We have included them as others are taking part in the Bangladesh Cricket League and we should not think anything beyond that,’’ said selector Habibul Bashar.
‘’They are young players and we have long term plans with them and not interested push them anywhere that can be over strenuous for them right at the moment,’’ he said
Zimbabwe arrived in the country on Saturday to play full bilateral series, comprised with one-off Test, three ODIs and two T20 Internationals.
After the two-day practice game, Zimbabwe will take on Bangladesh for the lone Test, starting on February 22 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
