Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine said that they have come to Bangladesh to win the test series as well as ODI and T-20 matches.
Bangladesh has lost all of their last six Tests. Among them, five were innings defeats. The one which was not was a defeat to Afghanistan on home soil.
ICC has banned Zimbabwe from playing test cricket for some time and they do not have a lot of test matches in this year too.
Craig Ervine has said that they are confident of playing against Bangladesh after drawing a test match against Sri Lanka and looking forward of winning the test matches
‘’We came here to win. We had a good series against Sri Lanka.it's given us some momentum after having a long break previously to that series’’ Ervine told media at Mirpur Sher-a Bangla stadium.
Ervine also hopes that they feel they know Bangladesh condition better than any other county as they tour here most often than any ither country
‘’A lot of countries toured here has struggled with the condition. we are one of the teams that have come here more often than any other country around the world. We are familiar with this condition and spin will play a big part.it is something we have to take care off leading on the test match’’ said Ervine
Bangladesh will play their only test match against Zimbabwe on February 22.
