Guyana Amazon Warriors set 197 runs target after winning the toss against Rangpur Riders in Global Super League Final.

The innings was anchored by a brilliant knock from Johnson Charles, who scored a well-crafted 67 off 48 balls before retiring hurt. His innings included 11 boundaries and 1 six, setting the platform early for the Warriors.

Gurbaz was the aggressor during the stand, smashing 66 off just 38 balls, with 6 fours and 4 sixes, striking at a phenomenal 173.68.
His attacking approach ensured the run rate never dipped, even as Rangpur tried seven different bowlers to break the partnership.

The breakthrough came at 142/2 in the 15th over when Charles retired hurt. Soon after, Gurbaz and Shimron Hetmyer fell in quick succession, with Hetmyer lasting just two balls without scoring.

Rangpur tried to claw back into the game with a flurry of wickets, but Sherfane Rutherford and Romario Shepherd finished strongly.
Shepherd, in particular, was explosive at the death, hammering 28 off only 9 balls*, including 3 sixes, at a staggering strike rate of 311.11.
Rutherford remained unbeaten on 19 off 15 balls as the pair added an unbeaten 48 runs off just 22 balls in the final stages.
Among Rangpur's bowlers, Iftikhar Ahmed was the most economical, returning 1/12 from 2 overs.
Khaled Ahmed and Tabraiz Shamsi picked up a wicket each, but the rest of the attack proved expensive, especially Azmatullah Omarzai (12 RPO) and Kamrul Islam Rabbi (8.75 RPO), who failed to contain the Warriors' batters.
