Iqbal Hossain Imon led a ruthless bowling display with 4 wickets for 27 runs as Bangladesh U-19 bundled Zimbabwe out for just 89 in Harare. Sanjid Majumder and Swadhin Islam chipped in with two wickets each.

Chasing 90, Bangladesh lost two early wickets, including opener Rifat Beg. But Azizul Tamim (47*) and Rizan Hossain (21*) kept their cool to seal an easy 8-wicket win.

Bangladesh rested Jawad Abrar and opened with regular opener Rifat Beg and Azizul Tamim.

However, the opening stand lasted just over an over as Rifat was bowled by a beautiful delivery from Shelton Mazvitorera in the last ball of the first over.

Azizul then tried to build a partnership with Kalam Siddique, and both opted for an attacking approach.

In the fifth over, Kalam, who scored 20 off 16 balls with four boundaries, was dismissed by Shelton, breaking the partnership. After the second wicket fell, Azizul and Rizan ensured a smooth victory.

With this dominant victory, Bangladesh booked their spot in the Tri-Nation final, where they'll take on South Africa U-19.
