Bangladesh cricket board director Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan has been granted bail by the judiciary of the Dhaka division.
Lokman Hossain was also the Director of Mohammedan Sporting Club and head of facilities division in BCB. Lokman is known to be a good friend of current BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon.
Lokman Hossain was sentenced to jail in the casino drive of the government.
On September 26, Rapid Action Battalion arrested Mohammedan Sporting Club Director-in-Charge Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan from his residence.
The raid at Lokman's residence came three days after another drive that shut down illegal gambling operations inside Mohammedan Sporting Club in Motijheel on September 23.
During the raid, police had seized two roulette tables, and nine betting boards from the sports organization. They also found 12 walkie-talkies, knives, and money counting machines.
