The whole country is stalled due to coronavirus. Day labourer became the most affected due to the lockdown. Transgender people are also been in crisis due to income closure. They are also human, they are also in need of assistance. National team cricketer Mosaddek Hossain come forward to help these neglected people of the society.

Mosaddek said that he saw many people are giving assistance to the poor and needy people of the society and neglecting the transgender people. He believes that people in our society don't even consider the transgender as a human being. That's the reason they overlooked them while giving aid to the underprivileged people. He posted on his social media account Facebook on Saturday and asked people to come forward for this transgender people also.

The right-handed batsman said that, "If anyone is the most neglected people in our society than they are 'third-gender' or 'transgender'. I always respect them. I never address them as eunuch. First of all many of us don't count them as a human being, if we do, then we consider them as inferior. Which is very disgraceful."

"I'm seeing many people are providing assistance to the poor, needy people. Which I look very honourably. But I am pretty sure that after seeing my post, many will think that they (transgenders) were also among us. We didn't think about them. Nothing was done for them. From this, we can understand where is their position in our society," He added that.

Mosaddek urged people to support these transgender people and also want everyone to consider them as the human being, they are also in a vulnerable position due to coronavirus pandemic.

"Let us not forget that they are also human being like us. I do not know when we will believe this identity of them. This is how we should try to come forward. How long of this religion, caste, racism differences will take place among us. The time has come for a slight change in our mentality," Mosaddek said that.

This right-handed all-rounder has been left behind from the central contract list of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). He didn't even play for any international matches for the national team in recent times due to his injury. Mosaddek could not even participate in the 27 cricketers initiative of raising funds for the underprivileged people of the country. But still he is trying to support people the way he can.
