India name Shubman Gill as new Test captain
7 hrs agoRamiz Raja, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has stated that he will meet with BCCI President Sourav Ganguly to discuss his idea to start a four-nation ODI league.
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting is slated for March 19 in Dubai, and Ramiz will discuss this suggestion with Ganguly in depth.
In January 2022, former Pakistan captain Asif Ali said that at the next ICC meeting, he will propose a yearly quadrangular series between India, Pakistan, England, and Australia.

Ramiz told reporters at the National Stadium in Karachi during the second Test between Pakistan and Australia that he wants to make sure that Indian and Pakistani players get to play each other more often so that the ICC can generate more income.

"I will talk to Sourav Ganguly about it when we meet for the ACC meeting in Dubai. Both of us are former captains and players and for us cricket is not about politics," Raja said.
"Even if India does not go with us on this proposal, we will think about launching an annual three-nation event with Australia and England in Pakistan," he added.
Remember, BCCI showed no interest in Raja's proposal and secretary Jay Shah said the interests of the chief of cricket bodies across the globe should be on expanding the game of cricket and it is more important than "short-term commercial initiatives"
Meanwhile, the ACC members will finilise the dates of Asia Cup in Sri Lanka during the meeting. The competition will likely be played before the ICC World T20 Cup in Australia scheduled in October-November.
