First day's play washed out

Persistent rain forced early stumps on the first day of the two-dayer practice match between BCB (XI) and Sri Lanka at the BKSP-3 Ground on Tuesday.
Only 8.3 overs were played as Sri Lanka managed to score 14-1, batter Oshada Fernando and Kusal Mendis were unbeaten on 7 and 5 runs respectively.
Opting to bat first, Sri Lanka were in trouble following the wicket of skipper Dimuth Karunaratne (2 off 18). Pacer Mukidul Islam Mugdho got rid of the Lankan's captain during the sixth over of the game.
