Australia has opted for extensive changes to the T20 squad in India, as selectors explore various options for the remaining three matches of the five-game series.
It is understood that World Cup champions Steve Smith and Adam Zampa have already departed for home ahead of the third match in Guwahati.
Additionally, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglis, and Sean Abbott are set to make their return tomorrow.
