Nahidul Islam all-round performance sparks Prime bank win

All-round performances of Nahidul Islam gave Prime Bank a good start in the Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League. Prime Bank beat Gazi Group Cricketers by nine runs where Nahid scored unbeaten 53run and took two wickets for his team.
Earlier losing the toss Tamim Iqbal's team Prime Bank was elected to bat first where they faced severe collapse in the opening hour, then by riding on the back of Rony Talukder and Nahidul Islams 79 and 53 runs and young Nayeem Hasan's 46 from 36 balls Prime Bank managed to give a target of 252 runs to Gazi Group Cricketers where the skipper Mahmudullah got three wickets.
In reply Mahmudullah’s team managed to score 242 runs by giving away nine wickets. Where the opening batsmen Soumya Sarkar scored 49 from 51 balls but the major impact was made by another all rounder from Gazi Group Mahedi Hasan. His unbeaten 56 from 49 ball innings was holding the hope for Tamim. But he was helpless because of not having a proper partnership on the other side.
Veteran leg break spinner Alok Kapali, Mustafizur Rahman and Nahidul Islam got two wickets for their team.
